This shot of the late Roy Castle was another case of just asking. Roy was involved in a promotional evening at our local Ford dealer and proved very approachable. He chatted, and was very happy to let me take a few shots. I used a Canon T90 with 90 mm. Tamron - the ideal focal length for 35 mm. portraiture - and the dedicated 300TL gun, which makes auto flash exposure very easy with it`s unusual flash spot metering. The point to remember in this situation is to be prepared. You need to be able to shoot in seconds without the need to adjust setting and otherwise look unprofessional.
